Recently, I had the absolute joy of working on a preservation piece for a couple who had been together for over 20 years before finally tying the knot. They chose to preserve a few meaningful blooms from their wedding bouquet, and when they walked into The Alberts to deliver them, the moment was filled with raw, joyful emotion.

That kind of love deserves to be honoured and remembered — and what better way than through pressed flower art?

Turning Wedding Flowers into Art

For this unique piece, I carefully pressed a selection of their bouquet stems alongside tiny ferns and wildflowers handpicked from their venue. These were arranged in a beautiful vintage wooden printer’s tray, with each compartment thoughtfully composed to reflect the layers of their story. Every pressed flower was treated with patience, care, and love – ensuring the piece captured both the beauty and meaning behind their special day.
